It’s been a while since I’ve been able to take a landscape image, as with Ray‘s declining health and inability to travel well, I needed to stay close to home.

The opportunity presented itself at, of all places, the Canadian Opera Company’s Four Seasons Centre during the snowstorm this past week. I’d been interested in this statue and its surroundings since an earlier image I’d taken during Peggy Baker’s performance and wanted to capture another – without performers this time.

The vantage point from the 3rd floor lobby area gave me a clear view, and the snow gave it just the quiet, tranquil mood I wanted. You can click on the image here to see a larger version.

I’ll be releasing the final image in a signed limited edition of 15 printed on archival fine art paper, framed or unframed. To start it’ll be a 12″ x 18″ print, matted and framed at 21″ x 27″ for $375 plus HST. I’ll also make it available in other large and smaller sizes upon request. If you’re interested, please contact me.
