After less than three months’ recovery from open heart surgery and a couple of test shooting runs, I’m back in business! As I said to friends recently, if it wasn’t for the 6-inch scar I see on my chest every day I wouldn’t know I’d had the surgery – though I might wonder why I look and feel better than I have in a while.

I’ll be changing a few things over the next little while, to keep things simple and help me focus on the creative side of things. For starters, I’ll be closing down the 4th Wall Images website. It’ll reduce the workload, as I host and maintain both sites, and it just makes more sense  to have everything here in one location at chrishutcheson.com. The client images site at proofs.4thwallimages.com will also move here. The Garden of Earthy Delights website will also continue, though it’s been a bit idle lately. I’ll be winding down some other aspects of my business here as well over the rest of this year.

I plan to broaden my repertoire, so to speak. I’m gearing up to do some time-lapse work, as well as more action and music/band photography. I’m also hoping to do more behind-the-scenes photography as well as continuing my work with the Canadian Opera Company and other performing artists. It’s good to be back in action!
