I took my usual number of photos (around 50) at Tuesday’s Canadian Opera Company free concert, but this one is the money shot – the one that captures Ricker Choi’s performance. (As always, you can see all the images of this and the rest of this season’s concerts by clicking here.)
It was also the last picture I took of his great performance. I’d tried several times to capture this type of image, but was concerned about shutter noise, so I avoided continuous shooting.
In a way, I identified with Ricker more than most, as we seem to have followed vaguely similar paths. We both chose business over music (different instrument and musical preferences here) when going to college/university, and we both moved on to banking careers.

so you teaching at Schulich.. i went there for BBA and MBA.. sounds like we have a lot of things connected with each other!
